1. Parties to the Agreement
This Aquarium Installation and Maintenance Contract (“Agreement”) is entered into between Aquassi Ltd (“Service Provider”) and the Client (“Customer”).
Aquassi Ltd provides professional aquarium installation, aquascaping, aquarium maintenance, and aquatic system management services across the United Kingdom.
This Agreement defines the responsibilities, services, and terms relating to the installation and ongoing care of aquariums supplied or serviced by Aquassi Ltd.
2. Scope of Services
Aquassi Ltd agrees to provide professional aquatic services which may include:
Aquarium Design & Installation
- Bespoke aquarium design tailored to the client’s space
- Supply and installation of freshwater or marine aquariums
- Installation of filtration systems, lighting, and life-support equipment
- Aquascaping using natural materials and aquatic plants
Aquarium Maintenance Services
Regular aquarium maintenance services may include:
- Water testing and water quality management
- Aquarium cleaning and algae removal
- Filter maintenance and equipment servicing
- Fish health monitoring
- Plant trimming and aquascape adjustments
- Replacement of consumables where required
Aquassi Ltd ensures all aquariums are maintained to industry standards for aquatic health and ecosystem stability.
3. Service Schedule
Maintenance services may be delivered according to the following schedule depending on the agreement:
- Weekly aquarium maintenance
- Fortnightly aquarium servicing
- Monthly aquarium maintenance visits
- Emergency support or repair visits if required
The service schedule will be agreed upon prior to the start of the contract.
4. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
- Provide safe access to the aquarium and equipment during scheduled visits
- Ensure electrical outlets and water access remain available
- Avoid introducing fish, plants, or chemicals without consultation
- Notify Aquassi Ltd of any issues with the aquarium between service visits
Failure to follow recommended guidelines may affect aquarium stability and livestock health.
5. Equipment Ownership
Unless otherwise agreed:
- Aquariums and equipment supplied by Aquassi Ltd become the property of the Client upon full payment.
- Equipment provided as part of a managed aquarium service contract may remain the property of Aquassi Ltd.
Details will be specified in the individual service agreement.
6. Health and Welfare of Aquatic Life
Aquassi Ltd is committed to responsible and ethical aquarium management.
All fish and aquatic species supplied are selected based on:
- Compatibility within the aquarium ecosystem
- Environmental suitability
- Responsible sourcing from trusted suppliers
Aquassi Ltd cannot guarantee the lifespan of aquatic livestock due to natural biological factors.
7. Payments and Fees
Service fees will be agreed before commencement of work.
Payment terms may include:
- One-time payment for aquarium installation
- Monthly maintenance service fees
- Additional charges for replacement equipment or livestock
Invoices must be paid within the agreed payment period unless otherwise stated in writing.
8. Cancellation and Termination
Either party may terminate this Agreement under the following conditions:
- Written notice provided according to the contract period
- Non-payment of services
- Unsafe conditions preventing service delivery
Aquassi Ltd reserves the right to suspend services until outstanding balances are settled.
9. Liability
Aquassi Ltd will perform all services with reasonable care and professional standards. However, the company cannot be held responsible for:
- Equipment failures beyond manufacturer control
- Loss of aquatic livestock due to environmental or biological factors
- Client interference with aquarium systems
Where applicable, manufacturer warranties will apply to equipment supplied.
10. Insurance and Compliance
Aquassi Ltd operates in compliance with UK business regulations and maintains appropriate insurance coverage for installation and maintenance services.
All work is performed in accordance with relevant safety standards and professional aquatic practices.
11. Confidentiality
Any project details, design plans, or client information shared with Aquassi Ltd will be treated as confidential and used solely for the purpose of delivering agreed services.
12. Agreement Acceptance
By signing this Agreement, the Client confirms acceptance of the terms outlined above and agrees to the provision of aquarium installation and maintenance services by Aquassi Ltd.
